Ali Sait Tanriverdi

Ali Sait Tanriverdi was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He studied a bachelor degree in Public Administration in 2011 from Anadolu University. He has made short films and edited music videos. He has written essays on cinema, theatre and music for various magazines. He completed his master's degree program in Radio TV Cinema at Istanbul University in 2017. He wrote master's degree thesis named 'Long Take Evolution in Béla Tarr's Films and Examination Over From Film Samples' which is the first thesis work in the World about Tarr's long take style. In the scope of the thesis, he examined long take styles of Michelangelo Antonioni, Andrei Tarkovsky, Miklós Jancsó and Jean-Luc Godard. He has been taking photographs since 2011.
