Heidi Rau

Heidi Jeanne Rau was born in Vallejo, California, to Lynn, an IT technician, and Kirk Rau, a dental technician and driving instructor. Her brother Stephen also works in IT. Her paternal German grandfather George was a successful entrepreneur from Los Angeles and the first to be born in America. She has German, Irish, French Basque, Native American, and English ancestry. She was creative from a very young age. She began writing a chapter book at the age of 8, and she began getting involved in theater arts at age 11. She competed in various regional theater competitions during her high school years, and she continued theater arts throughout her college career. Her first "big break" was on the set of "Lawless" in 2011 as a featured extra in the church scene. She took a hiatus from acting for a few years while she worked as a singer and songwriter out of Atlanta under the name Heidi Hypnotique. Her first lead acting role came in the Ominous Project Universe saga film "The Ominous Project Universe: Macabre File." She has played in various independent horror film roles with Foreman Empire Production's TV series "The Ominous Project Universe Presents" on The ON! Channel.
