Biography

Steve Brisbois is a professional IFBB bodybuilder. He was born in Canada. Since childhood, the boy was fond of different kinds of sports. He played hockey, went in for swimming and diving. Steve won a lot of swimming competitions. He won three years in a row at the Northern Ontario Diving Champion tournament among divers. After graduation, the sportsman was diagnosed with kidney disease called glomerulonephritis. For several years the athlete fought this disease. In the end, he turned his attention to a healthy diet. The athlete has completely changed his eating habits. At the same time, he begins to be interested in bodybuilding. The right diet, balanced healthy food and exercises began to bear fruit. In 1985, Brisbois tried himself in competitions. It was a tournament called the Canadian Championships (CBBF), where the guy finished in second place in lightweight. In 1986, the athlete won the same tournament in lightweight, as well as in absolute standings. This year, he won the World Amateur Championships (IFBB), at bantamweight. This brought him a professional bodybuilder card. Since 1987, he began his career as a professional. He performs at the "Night of Champions" (IFBB), where he becomes the 9th. For a small height (161 cm) of a beginner bodybuilder, this was a true success. In the same year he tries his hand at "Mr. Olympia", where he finishes in the last 18th place. Steve performed until 1992. During this time he managed to appear at the 21st professional tournament. It is worth noting his 5th place at the prestigious Arnold Classic (IFBB) in 1990 and 1992, 4th in the Niagara Falls Pro Invitational (IFBB) in 1989, the 5th the seat on Pittsburgh Pro Invitational (IFBB) in 1991, the 4th place in the Grand Prix Italy (IFBB) in 1992.
