Johnny Papan

Jonathan Nicholas "Johnny" Papan is a Canadian writer-director born in Surrey, British Columbia to a Guyanese mother and half-Hungarian, Half-Trinidadian father. Beginning as a guitarist-songwriter in 2005, Johnny found himself performing original music on various Vancouver stages, recording an EP, and having a track receive radio airplay. In 2012, Johnny transitioned into film, studying the history of cinema, screenwriting, directing, producing, and video-editing over the span of two years. Johnny's core strengths are in comedy and horror, though he has also experimented in dramas and art-films.
