Non-profit professional, short story writer, and music critic, Leon Spinner was born in Washington DC and raised in a small town in Southwest Virginia. He graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Virginia Wesleyan University. He has published music reviews for the Marlin Chronicle and a host of other music blogs and websites. Leon lives in Washington DC, where he is working on a book of various short stories. He also hosts a podcast (under alias) exploring Afro-American jazz, soul, and hip hop music as they relate to black liberation and politics.
