David Delaney Mayer

David Delaney Mayer is an Irish-German, American-born director/producer. Mayer grew up in North Carolina as a basketball player. He played for Mike Krzyzewski for one year at Duke University before he left the team to make films and write poetry. He has a twin brother, Michael, who he credits for teaching him how to find ecstatic joy in poetic moments.
