Biography

Ethan Starke is a futurist, philanthropist, artist, and entrepreneur. He has had an interest in social activism since he was a schoolboy with high awareness of environmental challenges, an interest that stayed with him and was an inspiration for most of his work. Founder of Spinoza Productions and Diaspora Films, and CoFounder of TimeWave Productions, he is the screenwriter, producer, and director of a growing number of short and feature films; Regret (2017), Last Scene (2018), Titixe (2018), A Dog's Life (2019), Encounter (2019), The Watch (2022), Salim's Cedar (2023). He advocates the perspective of minorities and the underrepresented in a crisis context. His characters represent the mentally ill, conflicted, agnostic, and victims of persecution who confront a cultural shock, find their bonds to their past and learn through love and acceptance. A prolific writer with multiple feature and serial projects in the making, Ethan's stories are mostly inspired by true events and stand testimony for communities long under profiled and underrepresented.
