Ashwin Verman

An alumnus of Film and Television Institute of India (Pune), Ashwin pursued filmmaking after finishing his bachelor of commerce degree from Kanpur University. He has worked in several formats of visual storytelling including Film and Digital. He is known for his work as a Screenwriter and Dialogue Writer on Hindi feature films 'Chakki' and 'Waah Zindagi'. His work on digital mediums includes an Arré original web series 'Official CEOgiri' and a drama-comedy series called 'Duck Se Dude' for zee5. One of his original screenplays (a survival-thriller called 'Lambs and Wolves') was the finalist of Mumbai Mantra Screenwriting Lab 2016. The student films he worked on during film school went on to win accolades at many major national film festivals. He is based in Mumbai.
