Jaidan Royal is a film director, writer, and editor based in Brooklyn, NY. Royal's passion is in incorporating traditionally avant-garde elements in narrative cinema. She finds influences in horror cinema, music videos, filmmakers such as Maya Deren and Rose Glass, as well as her experience growing up as a Woman of Color in the Midwest.
