Matt Pethel

Matt Pethel is a musician, composer, sound designer, sound editor, and sound mixer from Atlanta, GA. He grew up in metro-Atlanta and had a very musical family. His mother is a singer, and so were his grandparents. He spent his childhood traveling with his mother as she sang in clubs all over the southeastern United States. Having developed a love for music from a very early age, he became a multi-instrumentalist with dreams of being able to record himself playing all the parts, much like his childhood heroes, Paul McCartney and Dave Grohl. Matt attended Full Sail University and earned a degree in Recording Arts with a 4.0 GPA. Equipped with technical knowledge and a well-trained ear, he continues to hone his craft by not only producing music, but also designing sound and mixing audio in films.
