Angie Gwaspika

Angie Gwaspika is an award-winning filmmaker known for the deliverance of her powerful documentary short film, Bulletproof, which garnered attention across the film festival circuit in 2017 and 2018. Born in Fresno, California and raised in Prescott, Arizona, Angie graduated from high school at age 17 and left soon after to volunteer in Tanzania, east Africa for 3 years; first at an HIV/AIDS orphanage and later at a charity school. As someone who has witnessed -and personally experienced- the resilience of the human spirit, Angie has built her life upon a foundation of truth-telling and the belief that ashes can be transformed into art. Second to spending time with her pride and joy, her son, Angie most enjoys writing, traveling the world and living her next project.
