Lara Binamé was born on April 18th, 1990 in Montreal, Canada. Her parents having both immigrated from Europe, she is of British, Belgian and Scottish descent and speaks both English and French fluently. Her father, Charles Binamé, is an award-winning Quebec film director and her mother, a producer and designer. She studied Arts and Culture, Studio Art, Fine Art and Creative Writing in University and built a career working as a freelance copywriter, as well as running an online magazine, before she began pursuing acting in 2016, at the age of 26.
First cast in The Sanchez Brothers' Allure (2017) out of Montreal, followed by CBC's The Detectives (2018) and moved to Toronto a year later. She has since appeared on NBC's Taken (2017), MGM's The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair (2018), Hallmark's Good Witch (2015) and CBS' Clarice (2021).
