Known for "You Die - Get the app, then die (2018)", Davide Piazzolla AIC, is an Italian Cinematographer. Based in Turin (Italy), he works like a Filmmaker for Event, Web commercials and other projects. The professional breakthrough takes place with the participation in the role of Director of Photography, and colorist in the creation of "Nine - The Series", a low-budget web-series filmed in Turin. From that moment he devoted himself completely to Cinematography, making several short films, up to covering the role of DoP and colorist in his first Feature Film "La Stanza del Sorriso" by Enzo Dino. He later worked for a communication agency (Dreamset) where he made several web spots while continuing his career as Director of Photography, until his second feature film "You Die - Get the app and then die" by Alessandro Antonaci, where he received the Award for the best Cinematography at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival in Hollywood. Progressively, between 2018 and 2019, he made other short films and the TV series "L'Uomo Nuovo" whose Pilot episode received many Awards around the world, until the beginning of 2020 where he made his third Feature Film with the director Roberto Gasparro called "Lui è mio padre" as Director of Photography and Colorist.
