Christopher Michael Osby, Jr was born on August 14, 1995 in Eglin Air Force Base, Florida by the parents Christopher and Rhonda Osby and has one younger brother by four years. Christopher is a cinematographer, editor and photographer. His career began when he moved to Houston, Texas in 2014 after an unsuccessful freshman year at Hardin-Simmons University studying as a Criminal Justice major in his hometown of Abilene, Texas. It was in Houston when Christopher decided to enroll in Audio Production at the Art Institute of Houston until he realized his true passion for Digital Film & Video Production 9 months into his college career. Since 2015, Christopher has developed a love for cinematography and worked with a variety of people including DeReality Productions, Vernon-McKee Productions, and others, as well as fellow students and alumni of the Art Institute of Houston. Some of the projects that Christopher has worked on include the short films, "When Doves Cry," "Super Stoned," "Beast Factor," which premiered in a few film festivals across the United States, and "Lillian (2018 Short)" where Christopher was hired as a 1st Assistant Camera. He has not only worked on short films but also music videos, weddings, commercials, political advertisements and events as well as worked as a Production Assistant on the feature film "Sanitatum," and the reality show "Double Shot at Love." Some of Christopher's most recent work includes cinematography for a narrative music video entitled 'Wistful Thoughts' for local Houston artist "OZTheOriginal" as well as cinematography for a PSA for the City of Houston. Today, Christopher continues his career as a freelance filmmaker and continues building his own brand by the name of 'Oz-Bee Films.'
