Biography

Born in Madrid, Spain. Leyre Olivas started her acting studies at the age of 8. Since then she started acting on stage and writing and acting in experimental short films like "Un día de clase" produced by F.I.C.I in 2006 (Madrid International Children and Youth Film Festival) and working as a commercial actress for brands as Nintendo, Coca Cola, Seat, etc, while she was coursing Contemporary Dance studies. On stage she acted in plays such as "The blue bird", "Sivisbellum" and "Pelos Azules" selected for the "VII Salón Internacional del libro teatral" (VII Salon of Theatrical Book). In 2016 she worked in the successful Netflix series "Paquita Salas" directed by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo. After that she moved to L.A to continue her acting studies with Michelle Danner, acting coach of professionals as Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Gerard Butler, etc. In L.A she worked in "The Lost" (2017) a controversial short film directed by Neil M. Paik.
