Kenneth Fillmore

Kenneth Fillmore is an actor, known for Knock Knock (2017). Born in 1984 in Austin, Texas, Kenneth Fillmore Also known as "Apek" is a hip hop artist that emerged in the wake of influences such as Aesop Rock and Freestyle Fellowship. Apek has studied music since middle school and won many awards through performances with the Victoria High School band program. There, he absorbed the acute attention to form associated with his meticulous rhyme schemes. Through adulthood, he subsequently refined his own visual and conceptual vocabulary that emerged through his focus on the points of intersection between instrumental and vocal music. He is well versed in most instruments which influences the diversity of sounds introduced throughout his music. Believing that music is that last true form of free speech, Apek intertwines his interests for extraterrestrials, mythology, higher consciousness and the macabre into his art. Apek works to shatter the derogative connotation associated with hip hop by proving that you can use hip hop in positive ways to influence others.
