Jenny Rustemeyer

Jenny Rustemeyer is a documentary producer and writer based in Vancouver, Canada who primarily works with her partner Grant Baldwin under the banner of Peg Leg Films. In 2010, the duo released The Clean Bin Project which followed the couple as they competed to see who could produce the least amount of waste in a year. Billed as a comedic eco-documentary, it won several festival awards and enjoyed success in the educational and activism markets. Their follow up film, Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story (2014), premiered at the Hot Docs Film Festival and went on to be broadcast prime time on MSNBC and hit #2 on the documentary charts for itunes USA. She toured the world speaking about food waste for two years before producing This Mountain Life (2018) which also premiered at Hot Docs.
