Jesse Pinho is a Film & TV Production MFA student at USC's School of Cinematic Arts.
Growing up in the Boston area, Jesse took an interest in heist films as a teenager, and began writing short film scripts in high school and college. After college, though, his path took him away from film: he co-founded two tech startups, thus beginning a decade-long career in tech that took him from Silicon Valley to Chicago to Berlin.
But during the COVID-19 pandemic, a late-night Netflix session rekindled his long-dormant passion for filmmaking, and he began writing his first-ever feature-length screenplay, which he finished in December 2020. Seven months later, he moved from Berlin to Los Angeles to begin studying film at USC.
