Biography

Scott was born in El Salvador and moved to the United States at a very young age. His family settled in Olympia, Washington. As a youngster, while listening to his older brother's Judas Priest, Black Sabbath and Dio tapes, Scott developed and nurtured his sense of music. After graduating from Olympia high school, he moved to Europe for several years. At the height of the Seattle grunge era, Scott moved to Seattle. He spent the next 12 years studying at Seattle universities and colleges, bartending and playing music. In 2008, Scott moved back to Olympia, Washington to attend The Evergreen State College. While at Evergreen, he started his own audio recording business Quality.Live.Demos. He focused on spotlighting independent musicians and providing quality recording services for local artists; some of whom have gone on to achieve popularity as recording and touring musicians. Scott received a Bachelors degree in Audio Engineering and Media Production from The Evergreen State College in 2011. He now works professionally as a production sound mixer and documentary photographer and is based out of Los Angeles, California. Most of Scott's work is documentary in nature and involves international travel and he has worked on more than 10 features, (both narrative and documentary), as well as many, many short films and commercial projects. Scott's work is on major television networks, video on demand services like Netflix and Amazon as well as as many branded new media outlets.
