Diogo Hayashi

Diogo Hayashi is a Brazilian production designer, director and screen writer, based in São Paulo, Brazil. Diogo begun his directing career with the short film, Izamara, screened in festivals around the world. His first film as production designer, Volcano Exiled directed by Paula Gaitán won best picture at the 47th Brasília Film Festival. After that he's designed several features, shorts and music videos. In 2018 Diogo won the Candango Trophy for best production design for the feature, Temporada (Long Way Home) directed by André Novais Oliveira. Hayashi is a partner at Sancho & Punta Films.
