Hanna van Vliet

Hanna van Vliet is a Golden Calf nominated actress and creator, graduated in Drama and Contemporary Music Theatre at the Amsterdam University of the Arts in 2014. She plays the lead in the successful drama series ANNE+, that she also co-created. She can be seen in the Netflix show Toon, and in various films like Oh Baby, Broers and Ron Goossens Low-Budget Stuntman. In 2021 the international feature film Quicksand will premiere, in which she plays the leading part. Hanna was nominated for a Golden Calf for "Best Actress in a drama series" at the Netherlands Film Festival in 2020 (for ANNE+) and was nominated for a Musical Award (for 'Fiddler on the Roof' and 'De Tweeling') twice. Hanna is an advocate for a broad representation of female leads and queer roles in the (Dutch) film and TV landscape. In addition to her work for film, she works in theatre on a regular basis. She played the title role in the Dutch musical of Pipi Longstocking and had a leading role in the musical De Tweeling. She starred as Hodol in Fiddler on the Roof. In season 19/20 she can be seen in Dangerous Liaisons, by Bos Theaterproducties.
