Ricardo Colorado

Ricardo Colorado Seira is a northern Mexican writer, married with Paulina and father of two children( Julia and Jerónimo). Thanks to the extraordinary patience of his grandpa -a poet and a refugee from the spanish civil war- , Ricardo discover in his early years his passion for the story telling, nevertheless, it was until he finish his career as a Lawyer, when he had second thoughts about miss leading his vocation. As a writer he debuted in the industry with the short film Crescendo I, (2011), awarded with 16 festival prizes including the best film NYFF and in The Hollywood international Film Festival. Crescendo also made the first cut to be nominated in the category of " best short" in the 2013 Academy Awards; Later, Ricardo Colorado, in collaboration with Alejandro Monteverde y Pepe Portillo - known for Little Boy- wrote the script of CANTINFLAS. 37 KMS (Pre prod); and the Theree of Us (Pre prod) , are some of the projects Colorado is releasing as a writer. "La Otra Parte ( Documentary/ post)", co-produced with Eduardo Verástegui and Tomás Cordoba it's his opera prima as director. Ricardo Colorado spends his time writing between México and Los Angeles.
