Lee Allen Johnson

He won his first awards in High School for a film about the physiological ramifications of covering up an intoxicated vehicular manslaughter. Submitted to a local film festival, it won Best Film, Best Director, and his lead won Best Actor. He then moved to Los Angeles and worked his way up from a production assistant to a cameraman to the head editor at Alta Vista Films. He then left filmmaking and traveled the world for twelve years, living only out of a suitcase, trying to gain life experiences and empathy. In late 2016 he moved to British Columbia, Canada, and has begun reentering the filmmaking world. His first new film in twelve years, Life in a Drop of Water from a Puddle (2017), is nominated for Best Experimental at the FIIN International Film Festival in Portugal.
