Alexandre Siqueira

Alexandre Siqueira was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1980. Since 2000, Alexandre works in several animated projects, such some short films like «Sopa Fria», co-directed in the specialized course of puppet animation, in Lisbon, «Coisas & Loiças», directed by Sandra Santos, «Odisseia nas Imagens» and «Kali, o Pequeno Vampiro», both directed by Regina Pessoa. In 2008, he goes to la Poudrière school, in France, to specialize in film directing. His graduated short animated film, called Voyage au Champ de Tournesols, is welcomed in several international festivals. Actually, Alexandre is a freelance animation filmmaker /animator, based in Lille, France. Besides the commissioned animated works, Alexandre is developing his new short animated project called Purpleboy (aka Great Seed).
