Regardt Steenekamp

Born in Southern Africa, Regardt Steenekamp was raised on American movies. It sparked a dream to one day find this place that bestows a perfect escape from the third world. At the age of twelve, his family immigrated to Australia in hopes of providing him and his younger brother a promising future. Ten years later the land Down Under granted Regardt a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Screen Media Production from Griffith University and provided a platform on which he produced and directed two feature films by his 22nd birthday. In 2010, he followed through on his life-long dream and moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of bigger opportunities. He took on further studies at a local film school while interning for action film director, Simon West. He rapidly formed many coveted relationships with some of the U.S. film industry's top minds, thus commencing his career in filmmaking.
