At an early age, Gunnar Sizemore has made a name for himself as an accomplished voiceover artist and screen actor, as well as an upcoming screenwriter and director.
In the world of voice acting, Gunnar has lent his vocal talents to such high-profile projects as "Finding Dory," "Stranger Things," "Fences", "Hotel Transylvania 2," "Friday the 13th: The Game," "The Adventures of Kid Danger," "Doc McStuffins," "Cleopatra in Space," "Clarence," "Loud House" and "The Casagrandes." In 2018, Gunnar landed his first series regular role as Bao in the DreamWorks TV series "Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny" and shortly after as Ace in the reboot of the classic Japanese anime, "Ultraman." His recurring characters on Cartoon Network-produced projects include Jason in the Emmy award-winning cartoon "Craig of the Creek," Billy Billions in "BEN 10," and Squatter Otter in HBO Max's "We Baby Bears."
Gunnar was introduced to the entertainment industry at the age of three, starring in national commercials for Juicy Juice, Old Navy, Apple, The Hartford and Disney. His first film role was as the son of a U.S. veteran in the inspirational short "We Salute You." By age 10, he received a Best Actor nomination at the 168 International Film Festival for this work in the short film "Heartfall" and the following year, his film "The Night Guardian" won Best Comic Book Film at Comic-Con International Film Festival. He then starred opposite Billy Zane in "By Way of the Guitar," a short film about dueling street guitarists, where he performed all his own guitar playing. He is also the co-host of "The Miracle Show". His feature films include "Intensive Care" and "The World We Make".
Gunnar ventured into the world of television, appearing in sketches on "Conan" and "Chelsea," as well as appearing as a guest star on Disney XD's "Kickin' It." In 2014, Gunnar was cast as Micah Brenner in the ABC-TV hit "Nashville" where he was able to utilize his guitar and singing skills throughout the season. His duet with Sam Palladio "Roots and Wings" was his first song released on iTunes. Gunnar speaks Japanese and Spanish, and is diverse in many dialects. He is part of his high school's Cinema Arts program and has written and directed several short films. When not in the recording studio, behind or in front of the camera, he loves watching films and playing music, especially guitar. He is an avid reader, absorbing as much as he can about history and filmmaking. He is active in his community through organizations such as the Meadowlark Lemon Foundation, Shane's Inspiration, and Young Story Tellers, an organization that inspires all people to find their own voices.
