Edie Monroy

Edie was born and raised between the Bronx and Queens -- a self-professed, proud Borough Gurl. Her bold choices have led her to win Best Actress in a Short Film at the New York Sparrow Film Project for Hippy Dippy and a nomination for Best Actress in a Stage Production at the well-respected Strawberry One-Act Theatre Festival for Blood Orange Sorbet. Her directorial debut, The Walk Home" was featured in the Queens International Film Festival, New Filmmakers Festival, and Media Festival.
