Janelle Morrissey

Janelle, a native New Hampshire resident, is the founder of Mystic Haze Productions, formerly named Misty Haze Productions. She has been integral to its growth. Janelle is a talented Screenwriter and Director who specializes in horror films. she has written, produced, and directed a total of six indie films to date. Janelle's most recent accomplishments include, "As They Fall" and "Eamons Road". Janelle's interest in horror films was piqued at an early age when she saw "The Exorcist". It didn't frighten her but she was fascinated by the fact that it scared the living daylights out of most people. The psychology behind people's natural desire to be scared and their conflicting mindset to run away gets her creative juices flowing. Janelle has been influenced by Stephen King, Clive Barker and John Carpenter. She is in the process of realizing several more projects; "The Dracut Entities", a paranormal psycho-thriller, and "Vale End", a romantic thriller written by business partner Jane Astrove.
