Travis studied at the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco and Michigan State University with a concentration in film production.
Travis Burgess recently co-produced The Preppie Connection, a feature film about a prep school student who ran a drug distribution ring in the early 1980s.
Travis Burgess joined Coalition Films in 2010 and serves as Creative Executive. Travis traveled to Angola to produce the feature-length documentary Death Metal Angola. The film first gained attention when it screened at Doc NYC - New York's premier documentary festival - in 2013. Death Metal Angola was acquired by The Vladar Company and had a limited theatrical release in New York & Los Angeles.
Travis is also Associate Producer for CliffsNotes Films, an interactive series of animated short films based on the CliffsNotes study guides. CliffsNotes Films has been nominated for Best Animated Web Series and Best Interactive Social Media Experience at IAWTV Awards and Best Branded Entertainment at The Streamy's 2012.
