Biography

Ethan Sacchi is an independent filmmaker and freelance videographer based in Los Angeles, and founder of Answer Print Pictures. His intense passion for film has led to his involvement with a variety of projects, ranging from short narratives and documentaries to experimental films, reality series, music videos, feature films, and public service announcements. Now in his ninth year of video and film production, he has directed several short narratives, a genre where he is at his strongest. These include "Breakable", a film that was awarded fourth place for Best Drama in the 2010 Greater Philadelphia Student Film Festival and "Gone", which was selected for circulating exhibition in the Owl Collection in and around Philadelphia. A collaboration between friends, "Shades" was nominated for Best Music Video at the 2009 Student Television Network conference in Orlando, Florida. "Stray" was nominated for Best Cinematography at the Temple Film Collective Winter Film Festival in 2012 and won the Audience Choice Award at the Temple University Student Filmmaker Showcase in 2012. His Temple thesis film "Motive" was the recipient of the Freese Foundation Rough Cut Award and was nominated for the Final Cut Award in 2013. Motive was also officially selected to screen at the Student Art Festival and Top Shorts Film Festival in 2015.
