An honors graduate and active member of Brown University's Theatre Arts and Performance Studies Program, Nilla's professional acting career began upon graduation from New York's renowned Master Teacher Maggie Flanigan's Two-Year Meisner Conservatory Program. She has apprenticed at the Williamstown Theatre Festival (where she worked one-on-one with Lewis Black in developing a stand-up comedy routine). She has trained extensively in Improv and Shakespeare, in both French and English, including at the Sorbonne in Paris, France. She holds a J.D. with honors from the University of Virgina School of Law.
