Alessandro Melazzini

Alessandro Melazzini is an author and documentary filmmaker based in Munich, Germany. He was born in Sondrio, Italy, graduated in economics (Milano) and in philosophy (Heidelberg) and worked as an author and translator for newspapers and publishing houses. As a director and/or producer, he made cultural documentaries on very different topics. Among other movies he produced "The Italian Character" (2013), on the Italian Orchestra of Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, he produced and directed "Stelvio. Crossroads of Peace" (2014), "La Cicciolina. Godmother of Scandal" (2016) on the life of Ilona Staller and the sense of her career based on the art of teasing and he directed "On the footsteps of the cistercians" (2019).
