Amanda Brooke Lerner recently co-starred on Comedy Central's Awkwafina is Nora from Queens as B.D. Wong's Blind-Date-From-Hell and on Starz Power opposite Omari Hardwick. She has starred in dozens of award-winning indie films and has played mom to both Two-Time Emmy Winner Julia Garner (Ozark, The Americans) and John D'Leo (The Family, The Wrestler). She's had guest starring roles on TV for Nat Geo, A+E, and Lifetime.
Amanda won Best Actress for The Cartographer at The Long Island Int'l Film Festival Expo (LIIFE) and Best Actress for Daffodil at (CRISFF). She has been nominated for Best Actress 5x for Kill Al, The House on Cox Curve, and Sasha (Best Villain).
Recently, Amanda had a tour-de-force leading role in Good Grief about a woman who survived a terrorist attack that killed her son. Regionally, her most cherished roles are Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire and Beatrice in The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds.
She earned her BFA from Rutgers under the direction of Bill Esper and Maggie Flanigan and currently studies with Deborah Hedwall and Larry Moss.
