Biography

Marija Stojnic is an award-winning film and TV director and producer. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in Belgrade, Department for TV Directing. Her recent projects as a director include a Documentary series pilot - "Designing the Olympics" on the designer Lance Wyman and the controversial Olympic games in Mexico in '68. Marija is an Associate Producer of The Babushkas of Chernobyl - a documentary about a community of women living in the radioactive Dead Zone of Chernobyl by Holly Morris and Anne Bogart. Apart from directing, she is also a musician/vocalist. Currently (2014), she resides in New York City.
