Daniel Philpott is a film director, writer and producer who has been making films since his early teens. He studied under John Roberts (BAFTA, Paulie) and Kishore Verma at Royal Holloway University of London specializing in directing fiction. He has also undergone training from Stephen Frears (The Queen, Dirty Pretty Things, My Beautiful Laundrette) and Johnathan Powell (Ex controller of BBC One) whilst studying.
Since graduating with an honors degree Daniel has worked mostly in television with Cellcast TV, the UK's largest interactive television company,the BBC, The Farm Group in Post Production and recently at Lime Pictures. He has also independently continues to produce and write his own short films.
He established a small production company, HashtagTV, and produces corporate films which fund the production of his fiction films.
