Krista McKinney

Krista Michelle McKinney is an actor and writer, living in Texas. Most recently she filmed the short, Undone, starting Joshua Briscoe, directed by Matthew R. Harris, written by Evan Davis. Undone will be entered into film festival, Rack Focus, 2016. Krista also filmed short, Buffet, with producer/directors Geenah Krisht and Rachel Wilson. She is cast as Chelsey in Fire & Desire, scheduled to begin shooting in June of 2016. She has performed in scripted and improvisational theater and musicals. She has written for television news with the NBC affiliate in Fort Worth, Texas. Krista is very proud of the her lineage of strong, female writers and actors. Her grandmother, Ann Barham Pugh, hosted her own television show for NBC in the 1950's, was an actress and writer. Her grandmother, Lucille Straley, was also a writer.
