Ryan Czerwonko is an American actor/filmmaker of Russian, Polish, and Italian descent. Best known for his guest starring and recurring roles on "Chicago Med", "Chicago Fire", and "Chicago P.D.", Ryan has also appeared in "Cherry" from AGBO Films, "The Deuce", "The Equalizer", and "Watchmen", among many others, working with directors like The Russo Brothers, James Franco, Nicole Kassell, and Roland Joffe.
While obtaining his BFA in Acting from Ohio University, he spent two seasons at the Monomoy Theatre, followed by a season at the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre. In Chicago, he appeared at First Folio Theatre, 16th Street Theatre, and performed in the North American tour of "Evil Dead: The Musical". National commercial/voiceover spots include Michelob Ultra and Little Caesar's. Ryan has continued his training in NYC with Ted Sluberski, Maria Dizzia, and Ellen Novack, as well as at HB Studio with Jessica Hecht, Frank Wood, and Laila Robins.
Ryan is the creator of "Ugly/Handsome Films", a production company that focuses on a limitless style of filmmaking with a queer, poetic edge. Currently, "Tonight, We Fuck the Trailer Park Out of Each Other", a web series based on a book of poetry by genderqueer poet C. Russell Price, is airing on YouTube. "I Followed Darby", a short film about three drifters in a motel up to no good, is in post-production.
