Chedey Reyes

He began his filmmaking career by directing and producing short Films, and music videos. In 2003 Reyes founded his own production company, Dachefa Audiovisuales, where he produced animated series Cool City (in collaboration with the Canadian company Comet Entertainment). in 2007, along with Carballido and Juan Carlos Cruz, Reyes creates Machango Studio and the animated series Jonas, the Imaginary Adventures (2011). He undertook the duties of executive producer and director 24 of 26 episodes of the Jonas' first season. At the same time, Reyes has directed music videos for Spanish bands and he has also written and directed featured short film, A Love Story (2011). The work of Machango Studio has been acknowledged in Canarias Mediafest, Spanish Academy, Bucharest's Anim'Est, (Romania), Donetsk International Short film Contest (Ukrania) and Select H publication, among others. Reyes has a degree in business from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria University. He also studied Multimedia Design and Animation degree at TAI in Madrid and filmmaking at New York Film Academy.
