Paul has written for everything from apps to features. Paul has a gritty western (feature) slated for production at Clear Horizon - Battle in Rift Canyon.
Though growing up with learning disabilities in reading and writing, Paul has always gravitated towards storytelling. Even as a camp counselor back in Wisconsin as well as on Catalina Island, Paul lived to tell stories around the campfire.
As an actor, Paul thrived in improv and sketch comedy (Second City - Hollywood) where creating narratives was an essential part of the job.
After quitting acting to focus on writing, Paul went to work as an analyst in indie film distribution. This experience proved to be transformative. Here, Paul was able to break down stories and filmmaking on a daily basis.
Due to these experiences, Paul's been able to uniquely marry both creative and business in his writing. Regarding his learning disabilities, Paul says that they only help him to see our world in a different light.
Paul's unique style is most exemplified in his dark comedy pilot Expats which went on to be a finalist in the Final Draft Big Break Competition. Paul has just completed an hour-long pilot centered on trauma medicine in Detroit during the 1960's - Motor City Trauma. Paul's working on his next feature The Break In - a politically charged comedy and Cooperating, a TV pilot that focuses on a criminal who's now forced to work with his old psychotic crime boss.
