Gabriela Acosta

Gabriela Acosta was born on June 26th 1988 in Mexico City, sister of three. B.A in Animation and Digital Arts. ITESM-CCM. Co-founder of Muv Experimento (muv.mx) a successful company that produce advertising and independent projects with animation techniques and post-production. Muv produce based on experience, knowledge and efficients, creating content for animated series, movies, short-films and ads. The formula is commitment, talent, art, innovation, open data and technology. The vision of the company evolved and Gabriela is now director of Muv Lab. A creative Lab in Mexico City with the infrastructure to produce integral creative ideas done by the community. Independent directors, artists, entrepreneurs, small and medium companies. A space for co-working, networking, startup, production, administration and more for new creative entrepreneurs of all ages. Is a real solution for the new financial and administrative problems in the path of becoming a serious business. In the same way Gabriela created the Cluster of Mexican Animation A.C. Gabriela has produced 2 festivals, 11 short-films, 100 spots, now is starting with her first animated movie as a producer and won 11 prizes, to mention some of them "W&C" Kinoki Film Festival 2012, "Érase una vez..." FICM 2011, "Radioterapia" UNAM 2010, best Short Film "Vida Congelada" and Campus Movie Fest, 2010. She has worked in some other projects such as, Best Radio spot in the XXII edition of "El Angel de la Radio" and Best propaganda in the "XIII Congreso de Loterías Iberoamericanas" (CIBELAE), Gold for Web Animated Ad in Creative Circle, 2012. "Soy Fuego" Official Selection of the Short Film Corner in Cannes 2014.
