Playwright and screenwriter Dennis Bush's plays have been performed in New York and throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, the Philippines, Egypt and South Africa. His work has received awards at numerous regional and state theatre festivals. His solo-actor play "(Mary)Todd" was a multi-award winner in its premiere production and has been optioned for a commercial run. His play "Mouthy Bitch" was a hit and a critics' pick in it's premiere production, starring Kelsey Torstveit, and had a pair of success productions, directed by Jane C. Walsh, in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. His full-length comedy, "Like A Man," has been optioned for a commercial run. A New York production of his play, "In the Sack," is also in the works. Along with "Love or Whatever," his screenplays include "Big Days" and "Kyan." In addition, he has had short fiction and non-fiction work published in noted literary periodicals. Bush has extensive credits as a coach for writers and actors, and as a script/dialogue consultant. He has written commissioned theatrical texts for a variety of clients and is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
