Colton Walter was born February 7th, 1990 in Clovis, CA and was raised in San Luis Obispo, CA. Born into a family of engineers, Colton's dreams of filmmaking were not easily accepted by his family, but that didn't stop him. At age 19, Colton wrote and directed his first short film, 'Restoring Faith', which was accepted, and screened in the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival in 2011. Most recently, Colton has had great success with his last two films, 'muted. heart. strings.' and 'Left on a Blue Moon'. The former won Best Film of Denver while apart of the Denver 48 Hour Film Project, and Colton personally took home Best Directing. It also screened in the 2014 Starz Denver International Film Festival. In his spare time, Colton loves sports, photography, being active, and sunset chasing along side his beautiful wife of 3 years, Katie. He aspires to be one of the best feature film director's in the world, and would be honored to be chosen by the Lexus Short Films as a finalist, to further those dreams.
