James Kermack

Biography

James Kermack is a Writer, Director and Actor. His sophomore feature film - Knuckledust (2019) - is an action/thriller with blackly comic undertones. Bought by Samuel Goldwyn Films for all English speaking territories, it was released in the US/UK/Australia and New Zealand in December 2020 before releasing worldwide in 2021. His debut feature as a writer/director was the mental health drama - Hi-Lo Joe (2017) - which premiered at the Dinard British Film Festival and was then released in UK Cinemas and on Amazon Online. He co-wrote and Directed DanTDM Presents The Contest (2019) an interactive cinema experience which premiered at Wembley Arena. He has been Head of Development at Featuristic Films for the past four years where he oversees the creative on all projects on the slate. As an actor he has appeared in Chernobyl (2019), Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016), Cucumber (2015) & Doctor Who (2015).
