James McAlister

James McAlister is a multi-Instrumentalist and composer known for his work across many genres. Having collaborated closely with singer songwriter Sufjan Stevens since the early 2000s, McAlister found a home in the composing world after he relocated to Los Angeles in 2012. He has worked closely with composers Mike Andrews, Nico Muhly, Rob Simonsen, and Amanda Jones and is still an active collaborator and touring member of The National.
