Mitchell Speers

Mitchell Speers was signed by the Daimler Artist Agency in Hollywood, after writing his first screenplay. Having never studied film, he sought an education by auditioning for DIE HARD II and got a behind the scenes look at the industry that he could not have gotten in the classroom. Speers continued to write and gained the attention of stars such as Dustin Hoffman, Richard Prior, and more and calls from Paul Newman, Bill Cobbs and Disney, to name a few. After seeing a void in training for crews on independent projects, Speers founded the Michigan Film Alliance, LLC. In recent years, Speers has turned his attention to producing and directing.
