Tom Wilson graduated Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University, and moved to Romania in 2002. He has worked as a journalist for the BBC World Service and has written for The Guardian, The Independent, Time Magazine, Dazed & Confused. He also directs short documentaries for the BBC. Before the Fall (2011) is his first short film, and The Bucuresti Experiment (2013) is his first feature-length film. Both concern events that never took place, and were made without a production company (TW Films does not really exist). Neither film cost more than EUR250 to shoot, though because TW Films doesn't have an accountant or producer, this figure is something of a guess.
