Michael Domeier

Dr. Michael Domeier is a renowned marine biologist and television personality. He is best known for his research on Great White Sharks. His research was the subject of a National Geographic Channel series called Expedition White Shark (renamed Shark Men for the 2nd season). After leaving Shark Men, Dr. Domeier presented and produced a number of Shark Week episodes, including Spawn of Jaws, Spawn of Jaws: The Birth, Deadliest Shark Ever and Great White Shark Serial Killer Lives. He has made appearances on the Today Show, CNN, ABC World News Tonight and countless local news networks. He has published dozens of peer-reviewed scientific journal articles describing the results of his ground breaking research on sharks, tuna, marlin, California coastal fishes and coral reef fishes. He edited the most recent scientific book on White Sharks, entitled Global Perspectives on the Biology and Life History of the White Shark.
