Poppie Sköld

Poppie is a film maker and visual artist from London with a background in fine art and drama. Since graduating in 2006 from the University of Bristol with a degree in Theatre, Film and Television, she has worked both in the UK and internationally as a video portrait artist and film director. Creating autobiographical art-work pieces and observational portraits, Poppie has worked with several musicians, including the late Ari Up of The Slits, and the Mercury-nominated band, The Invisible. More recently, Poppie directed the film project, 'Lightly Covered With Buttoned Cloth', a trilogy of short films set in London.
