Biography

Philip James McGoldrick is an award winning film director, writer and producer and is passionate about story telling and films. Philip was born in Warsaw in 1987. He was subsequently bred in Flanders and later shipped to the UK to continue his path in fiction and theatre. He is a specialist in his field, owing his credentials not only to his professional experience in directing fiction, but also to the vast number of nominations and awards associated with his film work. Philip holds two Master degrees from two of the most prestigious film schools in the world, the RITCS film academy Brussels and the National Film & Television school in the UK. Both from which, he graduated with honours. Some of his awards include the Premiers Plans Grand Prix de Jury and a Paris Shorts 'Best Director' award for his short film 'Siemiany'. Philip's film 'Siemiany' was runner up for a Crystal Bear at the 2010 Berlinale and his other film work received 50+ nominations all around the world. In 2018, Philip directed his very first full feature length play 'Mariage Blanc.' written by the legendary Polish playwright Tadeusz Rozewicz.
