Simeon Tsonchev

Born in 1980 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Graduated from the National Classical Lyceum. Studied Directing for Screen. Worked as freelance designer, assistant director, photographer, film editor, wall-destroyer, script-writer, copywriter, grocer... His graduate short film Delete (2008) won the Metropolis Prize of Zemos 98 Festival, Seville; (Spain) as well as two Jury Awards at Unifest, Madrid (Spain). It was also broad-casted all over the Spanish-speaking world by RTVE & TUEVE. Co-producer of Zero Street (2010), Gioch - Stepping Across the Border (2010) and Magicians (2009). Editor of Seeing You (2011), and Imagining Devdas (2011). Assistant director and location manager of more than 40 TV commercials and a few short films. Executive producer assistant of the feature The Child Prodigy (2010). Founder of Mono Collective.
